Monopoly World Edition from SIGE 2011

hey readers,
sorry i havent been updating..
i have one post that i went to Seoul Garden but it is still pending
back to the topic...
our campus is having an event that is called
Self Interest Game Exhibition aka SIGE

well today is the 5th day of the event and we had monopoly deal competition
for those who do not know wat is monopoly deal...
it is a card game something like monopoly
but quite a fast pace game compared to the actual monopoly
on game can last to 15minutes on average...
yesterday was my lucky day i guess...

i signed up for the game last minute...
wasn't planning to join actually since i was helping my friend, aaron to prepare food to sell
and my boyfriend sign up for it so i was juz planning to stand back and look...
but in the end since i got bored, i signed up as a independent player with a fee of RM 2
my 1st match was fun... i got table number 2 which have 2 people...and 1 won the match
then proceed to the next round.. the top 2 in each match will proceed to the next round
sadly 1 the following match and so did my dear dear...
so was quite disappointed at 1st
but they had 6 players for final and need 2 more.. so the highest 2 among the loser was chosen
so me and my dear was among the highest...
in the end...
i won and proceed to the final...
Somehow this reminds me of the match between Spain and Netherlands last time..
4 people compete
they are william, chandra who are representing the club
then me and aaron who are independent players..

i would say i was very lucky... thanks to aaron's angry bird pig
it somehow became my lucky charm as it bring me luck in 2 matches...

i manage to win the 1st prize

it been a long time since i won anything...
and i always wanted a monopoly set...
now i am a proud owner of this monopoly game
YEAH!!!!

really lucky as 2 deal breakers came out very early and 3 just say no card out

this is how the finale match ended...
1st round i didnt throw any cards..
the finale win was.. player number 2 charge me rent RM 6 million to one person to me which i juz pay... then it seems like i am an easy target since i juz pay 6M and have like 2-3M in my deck...then he attack me again with the same amount 6M and i reveal my just say no card and i wasted his move.. I stole his full set deck using deal breaker
and i juz 2 different colour to win.. then when i draw the card again.. i was so happy coz i got the 2 colour i wanted... sadly my move ended...
then the following round...i juz win it... yeah!!!


when i was back at my room i forgotten about it for awhile...coz have so many work to do...
haiz...
finally i did opened it...
I open it with care... i opened the plastic so slowly with blade so that the pastic is intact...
ah... the smell of the new board game is so nice... the sound of the board game is a bit scary when opening it...

so happy... going to tell my dad tmr..
if my late aunt was still around..i would have tell her 1st...

i think i will go buy some wrappers for the cards 1st before i start playing...

i find it quite worth it since i am so tired for the whole event since i was there every single day.. anyway...i think this is a fair trade off.. PLAY HARD STUDY HARD...
so now i am to focus in my studies...
like what i promised to my daddy,
that i will quit most of my activities and games for my studies...
